We all make jokes about why would you have your phone out so it would go in the toilet or sink. With that being said mine went into the sink. I just wiped it off and I was good to go, no damage. The only caveat is the plug that needs to go into the headphone jack. You must remove it in order to screw the adapter in. There is no other way to make it waterproof so this makes sense, is just a bit awkward. It is rugged but it looks sleek and adds very little extra bulk to the iPhone.............................
